WEEK ONE

Progress is progress.

After week one, you get on the scale and only see you’ve lost a couple ounces, or even worst, you gained a pound.

What am I doing WRONG? Why am I wasting my time? Why am I not seeing results fast enough?

Remember, it’s a journey. The best part is that you’re working towards lasting results. This isn’t a challenge that’s going to make you skinny fast, or help you lose 10lbs in a week. This is a challenge to help you make a lifestyle change.

There are a lot of factors to consider BEFORE you step on the scale.

– Water weight is REAL. If you’re like me, after drinking a gallon of water each day, you may feel bloated by the end of the night.
– PMS is REAL and will cause your weight to fluctuate, so keep that in mind as well.

WEEK ONE

Ok, so the water weight made me feel sooooo discouraged y’all, I just refused to get on the scale. #TryMeNot

I continued to research whether a gallon of water was good for the body or not, and every answer I found was “yes yes yes,” even MORE water is good for the body.

So okay, I continued to drink a gallon of water a day, but how do I get rid of the bloating?

I went to the Vitamin Shoppe on Thursday (day four) and bought Psyllium Husks Powder, a source of soluble fiber, which helps to support intestinal and colon health. It was about $8, and I’ve already noticed a difference in the bloating. So yea, we’re good for now.

Also, I am PMSing so I’m trying to remember to keep that in mind.

I completed my workouts Monday-Friday,
Saturday I did a yoga workout, and was finallyyyyyyyy able to do a complete handstand,
and Sunday (day seven) we rest – praise em’
