Now I’m usually one for desserts, something sweet or something chocolate… Basically sugar, sugar and more sugar. So it’s very rare that I’m ever craving something savory. But when I do, it’s like my sweet tooth, I want it!
I have tons of healthy recipes to satisfy my sugar rush but what about when my salty tooth needs satisfying?
I found a zucchini chip recipe, and I’m just like THIS-IS-IT! Something, quick, tasty, savory, and of course, healthy.
I used only 1 zucchini and sliced it into thin 1/8″ circles.
I placed parchment paper over my nonstick pan and coated the zucchini slices with olive oil. I topped half of the slices with old bay and the other half with lemon pepper. Mmmm!!
I’d like for it to be a little crunchier next time, and I think that had a lot to do with the size. I’ll try to cut them a little smaller and bake them on a lower temperature for a longer amount of time and see how they turn out.
This recipe was very good though!! It satisfied my savory tooth, LOL, so mission accomplished! ??
