DIY MILK AND OAT BATH

What you’ll need:
Oats, vanilla extract, milk (I used almond milk), essential oils (I used tea tree), coconut oil

A milk bath leaves your skin feeling soft and supple. … The milk also helps exfoliate the skin for additional softness. The lactic acid in milk helps clean and soften the skin. The milk hydrates the skin, preventing dryness.

The oatmeal will cleanse your skin and lock in moisture. Itchy skin remedy: According to the American Academy of Dermatology, “itchy, dry skin often has a high pH level, but oatmeal can help normalize your skin’s pH, which can relieve itchy, uncomfortable skin.

RECIPE:
Blend 1 cup of oats in a blender or nutribullet until it becomes a powder.

Separately, mix 1 cup of milk, 1/4 tsp of vanilla extract, 10 drops of your essential oil and 10 drops of coconut oil.

Creating your bath:


Run your bath water and add drops of your oils to the water. Once you have a full tub of water add 2tbsp of your oat powder and mix your whole milk mixture as well.

Relax for 30 minutes! :)

After the bath there will be some oat residue but it’s really easy to clean up!
